Four hundred volunteers at Glide Memorial began passing out turkeys and canned vegetables at 7 a.m. to hungry people in the Tenderloin, according to a story in SFGate. All in all, six thousand bags of groceries were passed out to a long line of people that wrapped around the block twice.
