Thank you postcards

I'm a big fan of thank-you cards, but who said they have to be the kind you buy at a store with the words "Thank you" already printed on it? When people send a group thank-you card, they usually buy one card and pass it around for people sign. Unfortunately, when there are a lot of people signing one card, there usually isn't enough room to write very much. I always loved getting thank-you cards of any kind, but it always feels more special when people actually take the time to write a little note inside, rather than just signing their names.

As I wrote in my last post, our good friend Bess invited us to her lovely home for tea, sandwiches, and scones. Rather than send her one thank-you card with all of our signatures in it, I thought it would be more fun to pass out cute postcards for each of us to write on. That way, we all have more room to write a little something special. We can still make it a group thank you by putting all of the postcards into one envelope and giving it to her together.
