The actress who plays my favorite southern belle has died. Rue McClanahan, who played the man-hungry Blanche Deveroix on The Golden Girls has passed away today at the age of 76 after suffering a massive stroke. Betty White is now the only surviving golden girl. Rest in peace Rue. I will eat a cheesecake in your honor.
