A conversation between me and a seven year-old boy last week
Boy: What do you want for Christmas? I'll get it for you.
Me: Um. I haven't thought about it. I haven't written to Santa yet. Have you?
Boy: Yes. What gift do you want? [pauses] I know! You want a Barbie?
Me: Sure!
Boy: A Barbie monster truck!!!!
Me: Um. [pause] Sure! What do you want for Christmas?
Boy: A Spiderman monster truck!
Me (to myself): I should've seen that one coming...
