Oliver, my 10 year-old cat, had a paw wound that the vet bandaged up a few days ago. Getting him inside his pet taxi to go to the vet was a nightmare though. For a little cat, he can fight back pretty hard but he's so gentle that he never even tried to scratch me. He just kept trying to squirm his way past me.
Today, we had an appointment with the vet to have the bandage removed. Luckily, I think I've mastered the technique of getting him in his pet taxi though. I just played with him a little so he would relax, picked him up, sat on top of the pet taxi and pushed him inside the carrier. He was pretty well-behaved and he didn't even try to fight back. He's really very sweet.
P.S. The vet removed the bandage and Oliver's much better now. And he lived happily ever after. The end.
