How to procrastinate in studying for finals
I'm sure every college student could write a dissertation on how to procrastinate studying for finals. So maybe this isn't a "how-to" guide so much as it is a "look-what-I'm-blogging-about-to-put-off-studying-for
-my-finals" confession. Just a word in my defense: I
will eventually study for my test tomorrow. It's just that after a week of projects, papers, presentations and no sleep, I'm doing the little things I can to keep what's left of my sanity.
- Look up Youtube clips of your favorite Disney songs. Here are a few of my recommendations: Aladdin's "A Whole New World", The Little Mermaid's "Under the Sea", Beauty and the Beast's "Be Our Guest" and The Lion King's "I Just Can't Wait to be King"
- Take a walk or go to the gym (to be safe, make sure you go with someone else).
- Eat your weight in TV dinners. Just kidding, don't do that. I've been living off of fettuccine alfredo microwave dinners the past few days, though.
- Listen to Christmas songs!
- Make cute little origami boxes from Post-its. Instructions at Instructables
- Delete unnecessary emails from your inbox. It's tedious. It's time-consuming. But somehow you can convince yourself that at least you're being productive.
- Log on to Myspace (still remember Myspace?) and leave a comment for all your poor friends who haven't gotten a comment since high school
- Get a few laughs at failblog
- Write a blog post or comment on this one =]
